SPF Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Chapstick

Lipstick is the final touch in my makeup routine.
It may be the first and most important in yours. Make you beautiful lips stand out with just a hint of color or sexify them up with a daring purple. A powerful red always makes a statement too.

I like to just wear a hint of color during the day usually. No matter what your preference is, make sure that your lipstick contains SPF. Or you could put on an SPF chap stick and then put your lipstick or lip gloss on over. Remember to reapply throughout the day, but given that many people’s lips can get dry, remembering is not a problem.

Many lipsticks and chap sticks do not have good UVA protection yet. I did find one that does contains pretty decent protection. Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick:
Active Ingredients: Octinoxate (7.5%), Titanium Dioxide (1.1%)

This lipstick comes in a pretty small silver lipstick tube. I really like how it is silver, it looks like a more expensive lipstick from a department store, but it is from the drugstore! The lipstick is pretty sheer so don’t be scared to go for the deep red one. It is pretty moisturizing some Aquaphor or Vaseline may be needed to prep lips underneath. The texture is not sticky at all, it’s in between a lip gloss and a lipstick. They run around $7, but look for the buy one get one 50% off coupons. Ulta and CVS has these deals pretty often. Give your lips the beauty and sun protection they need!
