I ran out of my deep conditioning treatment the other day. I was using Activate deep conditioner, which was very nice. However, I decided that I wanted to buy a new deep conditioner. Changing up your conditioner every once in a while is good for your hair. Some people say, you don’t even need a deep conditioner treatment, just change up your regular conditioner, because it is the different ingredients that your hair reacts to.
Although, I like the extra thick conditioner treatment. I feel like a deep conditioner really makes my hair healthy, soft, and bouncy. Plus, applying a deep conditioner makes me feel like I am pampering myself once a week. And it is important to take time out for yourself and your hair. And I have come to the conclusion that I do not need a expensive conditioner mask either. I have color treated hair and used to feel, before I start this beauty blog, that I needed the best mask I could afford. However, I have since learned it is all about the product’s ingredients. And there are many deep conditioning treatments, with great ingredients for a great price.
I thought I would try out Aussie Deep 3 Minute Miracle original treatment. This hair product has been around for years and it has been reformulated and repackaged as well. The original treatment still gets great reviews by many people. It is often thought of as one of the top conditioner treatments. And the fact that it is only $4 is already a huge plus in my book.
I loved the smell of Aussie’s conditioner product. It was thick, but not too thick, for it did not weight down my fine hair. I applied it to the length and ends of my hair only and put a bathing cap over it while I soaped up my body for about 5 minutes. The conditioner completely washed out of my hair easily and I could comb through it with absolutely no tangles at all. And believe me my fine hair gets really tangled, so this is another huge plus! My hair was super soft all day long and it smelled divine too. I think I will stick with Aussie for awhile.
What are your favorite deep conditioning treatments? Do you buy a new product every time you run out or stick to your favorite brands?
Here’s to a happy hair day!
