With all the fad diets out there it is hard to know which one to try. Or perhaps you have tried them all and none of them work? Well, one of the keys to any diet, is discipline, patience, and motivation. You have to stick to these crazy fast diets. There are diets that work fast. They really do work, but you have to be strong and determined.

Many people know that these fast diets are not meant to be followed for the long term, because they are NOT meant for long term. You just want to loose 5 to 10 pounds quickly, so you can look hot for that party coming up right?! Well, you can jump start your weight loss with one of these diets that work fast. The fast results make you really happy and that can motivated you to keep the weight off. However, if you want to keep the weight off you need to go off the fad fast diets and just eat healthy and exercise regularly. But this post is about fast diets that work. Fast diets that just melt away those pounds.

Good Diets that Work Fast:  

The Cabbage Soup Diet – is a very interesting diet. I think it is a bit confusing and strict with certain foods you can eat one day, but not the next. It is a 7 day diet and of course you eat cabbage soup as a meal every day. Cabbage is high in fiber and very good for you. This diet is kind of like the Special-K diet where you replace a meal with cereal instead. This diet is a low-calorie diet that can be boring, but it may be effective for you.

Loose Weight with a Diet that Works Fast

The South Beach Diet – is a low-carb diet. The first two weeks you are not suppose to eat any fruit or simple sugars at all. Then you can slowly incorporate fruit back into your diet. You are suppose to eat as much vegetables as you want though. And you are suppose to eat whenever you are hungry, so this diet is not a low-calorie diet, but a low sugar diet.

The Juice Diet – is where you only drink juice for three days. You can buy the special juice mix at the store or you can try the lemonade juice diet. They are all the same very low calorie diets that work really fast, but they are extremely hard to stick too, even for three days. Plus, forget about being able to concentrate on work or anything. You will be so weak, so it’s probably best to try this on the weekend. I have tried it before and I could not do it. I like to enjoy a meal with my family and it’s very weird when I can’t. Plus, the temptation to eat something is too great. Perhaps, this diet could work for you, if you live alone. This is definitely one of those extreme diets that work fast.

Diets that eliminate an entire food group are usually hard to stick to though. Your determination and discipline has to be strong. You have to have self-control. Control your emotions and tell yourself no. With strict diets you are left feeling deprived, which can lead to cheating. Low calorie starvation diets are hard to stick to as well, because you are being deprived again. Most people know these fad diets that work fast are not healthy. They are only meant for the short term of a week or two. So if you really want to loose those first 5 to 10 pounds, try one of these diets, but then immediately switch to your long term plan of healthy eating.

The key to loosing weight and staying in shape is through healthy eating and exercising over the long-term. Eat balanced meals. Control your portions, but don’t starve yourself. Enjoy everything in moderation, that is the key. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Eat whole grains and lean protein. Don’t eat a lot of processed food, nor fast food. When you don’t feel deprived, you will stick to it and you will loose the weight and keep it off. Try to always eat healthy and not yo-yo diet, it’s better for your body.

Exercise is very important as well. Work out for at least 30 minute everyday or 3 to 5 days a week. It is important to exercise in moderation as well. You don’t want to over exercise and burnout, but you want to stay consistent. Make sure to incorporate both cardio and weight training into your exercise routine. Lifting weights is very effective for weight loss. As you get older your body does not burn as many calories as you did when you were younger, since you body looses muscle as you get older. So weight training is more important for weight loss than you know. It will not make women look like a body builder either, no matter what, you will only look nice and toned. Try a different cardio activity to spice up your routine so you don’t get bored. One day try dancing, running, walking, swimming, tennis, or aerobics. Just move you body and have fun with it. Diet alone is not enough, you must exercise too. Plus, the pounds will drop even faster.

Loosing weight can be difficult. So many people are struggling with weight loss in America. Being overweight or even just 10 pounds overweight can be stressful. Well, don’t be mad about being overweight anymore. Try one of the fad diets that work fast to give yourself some quick satisfying results. However, you don’t have to try a fast crash diet. Just try eating healthy and exercise first, it will be much healthier for you. If you must try the crash diet, then remember to only stay on it for a week and then switch to healthy long-term eating. Stay motivated, be patient, and discipline yourself. It is hard work to get into shape, but you have to do it. Without your health it is hard to enjoy life to the full. So believe in yours

Exercise and Believe You Will Loose Weight

We all know how important a healthy diet and exercise routine is to our overall well-being. Exercise reduces stress and reduces fat, such great benefits, but it can be so hard to maintain. As adults we have to make ourselves exercise. Adults have to do a lot of things they do not want to do, but they do them anyway. We have to make ourselves exercise, in order to loose weight. Just think about how happy you will be when you are done exercising.

It is very sad how they are so many sedentary people in America, I am one of them. Unfortunately, America is getting fatter and fatter. Yes, jobs with the long hours do not help. Perhaps, try going to bed earlier and waking up a half hour earlier than you normally do. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.”

Try new activities all the time, it can keep you exercising and having fun while doing it. Or you could try just working out for five minutes and then if you really are tired then stop, but odds are once you start going you will not want to stop.

Loosing weight is also a mind thing. The mind and your thoughts are very powerful. Always think positive good thoughts. You will loose weight. Keep thinking that you are doing good and are loosing weight. Aim for progress not perfection. Develop a positive thinking habit and a healthy diet and exercise habit, after all it only takes 21 days to form a habit. Humans are creatures of habit and you will succeed with these healthy habits.

Vietnamese Diet Pills?

My Mom told me about some sort of Vietnamese pill that a friend’s sister is taking to loose weight. The friend is going to find out the name of the pill from her sister soon.

I thought I would try to look it up today. She said the pill contains cranberry juice and veggies and her doctor said the pill was perfectly fine to take. I could not find anything like this pill, so I guess I will have to wait until they find out the exact name. The sister lost about 40 pounds and she was full all the time! She has stopped taking the pill and she still feels like her stomach has shrunken.

Diet pills are a big no and can be very unhealthy for the heart. Some diet pills can work in the beginning sure, but they are extremely unhealthy long term. Plus, popping a diet pill encourages the idea that eating healthy and more exercise is not the only way to loose weight, which they are.

Many of those juice pills, such as the acia berry pill are all hype and just a load up of antioxidants. I do not see anything wrong with adding more antioxidants to your balanced diet, but I do not think they will help you to loose a great deal of weight.

Perhaps, the idea of taking a juice pill that says it will aide in weight loss, even though it really does not, will help some to loose weight. The placebo effect really does work. If you believe a pill will help you to loose weight strongly enough, along with eating less and more exercise, then it may happen.

I will update when I get the name of this pill, perhaps it is a old weight loss secret…

Beauty from Within!? Can it be Done?

Here it is the saying, beauty from within.

It is true, eating healthy can greatly affect how you look on the outside. So if you want a beautiful femme facade, make sure you are eating a well balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins… Everything in moderation really is the key.
Vitamins taken orally can be effective too, not only to your outside but to the inside as well.

Although, it is up to you whether you decide to take vitamins or not. I took a health class in college and during that semester I had two different teachers. The first teacher had to stop teaching class for personal reasons and so a new teacher came on board. Well, let me tell you, they had totally different opinions! It was unbelievable. My first teacher was all about doing cardio, but making sure to lift weights, because the more muscle you have the faster you burn calories. My first teacher was also all about taking vitamins. Well the other teacher was all about doing more cardio and not taking vitamins. I agree with my first teacher that one cannot get the recommended amount of vitamins through food alone. We can’t eat that much of all the different types of food everyday!

I totally believe in eating a well balanced healthy diet too though. You cannot eat junk food everyday, take vitamins and think you are doing good. Nope, vitamins are in edition to healthy eating.

Now do I believe that vitamins can prevent acne from forming? From personal experience I would have to say, Nope! Vitamins have not help me in that way, nor has drinking 8 glasses of water everyday. I have done both for years and years, but it has not stopped acne from forming. I do believe that vitamins have helped my inside and so I will continue to take them and drink the 8 glasses! Yes, I mentioned the inside and not my outside, even if this blog is called Femme Facade.:) Yet, does not how we feel on the inside affect how we look on the outside?!
So live to be 103 by eating your apple a day and taking your vitamins! :)
