Outer beauty is important. We should all strive to look our best. It is important to take care of your skin and it is also important protect your skin with clothes. Now that it is Springtime, it is time to buy the best deals on the Fall and Winter beautiful clothes!  Showing off your style and personalty with clothes can make you more happy and confident too. So show off what you have with a few new clothes. Treat yourself, you deserve it. Plus, there are all these sales going on right now. I am all about sales, why spend more when you can buy it on sale. Shopping out of season is the best way to score great clothes for the best prices! Look beautiful and feel beautiful knowing that you saved money and look great!

I did a little Internet shopping today and have to share a sale I found! Check out this little dress below from Sears, it is only $11.99. Can you believe it, this dress looks like it will be perfect for Springtime too and it was found in the Fall clearance section! I like how it hits right at the knee and think a black cardigan will keep your shoulders warm from the cool Spring breeze.


This Sears sale of 75%-80% off original prices on Fall and Winter clothes will last until April 18th! You never know what you will find in the clearance clothing items. I even look in one size up and down of my actual size, because sometimes there will be that one fabulous shirt that ran a little big and got left behind. Buying fabulous clothes can make you feel more beautiful, but real confidence comes from the inside. So choose to be positive. Choose to feel beautiful and you will be.

Skin and Climate

The climate definitely affects your skin. I have been looking at homes all across the country today. Now is definitely the time to buy, if you can afford it. The homes are all so beautiful. Living in a beautiful place and being happy, can make your skin radiate beauty as well.

Are you happy where you live? Moving to a new area can be the right move in these uncertain times. Look at new changes as a new chance to pursue your dreams and a new start.

I know this does not have much to do with beauty or skincare, but being happy does affect your skin. And hey, I am a real estate agent too, so I love looking a beautiful pictures of homes.

A change of climates can be great for your skin as well. And if you choose a cute little cabin in Alaska, just bring a great moisturizer with you. Find the right heavy moisturizer and live in the beautiful mountains.

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! It is time to wash away 2008 and put on a new face of beginnings. May 2009 be a beautiful year full of clear skin, beautiful smiles, and peace and love in all areas of our lives.

Who knows what the new year will bring, but it is going to be exciting to find out. May God bless us and may we cherish each day.

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? I don’t really make New Year’s resolutions. Each and every day is a new day and a new beginning. Live life to the fullest and if you mess up, tomorrow is a new day.

Christmas Giving and Health

Christmas is all about giving and helping those less fortunate than you. Giving tells someone that you care about them. Giving also makes you feel happy and healthy too.

And do not forget the reason for the season. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was born on Christmas day! Jesus Christ is all about love and life.

Lets love each other and give to each other a little more this Christmas. Giving shows God thanks for everything he has given you. And shouldn’t we all try to honor God a little more at Christmas time?

What does all of this have to do with beauty? It is beautiful to give and make others smile. Giving brings more joy to everybody. And smiling more makes you more beautiful. A smile can light up the room, a smile is contagious, a smile makes you more happy, a smile is beautiful.

Stay beautiful and happy during this Christmas season everybody!

Women’s Perfume and Sweet Tales

The beautiful intricate glass bottle that sits on your vanity. What is inside that bottle? Musky jasmine and spice. Flowery lavender and roses. The smells that comes from women’s perfume bottles are unique and make you smell beautiful and feel luxurious.

Fragrance companies sales have barely risen since 2002 in the U.S. and the sales have ceased in some European countries.

“Matt Frost, the global marketing director of fine fragrances and beauty care at International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF), said that of the hundreds of annual launches only around three fragrances are likely to have enduring appeal”(cosmeticsdesign-europe.com).

Too many perfumes are made too fast. And they all smell so very similar. Plus many consumers stick to their loyal brand.

I have gone to only buying one perfume bottle a year. I use to buy more, but perfumes really do not last longer than a year due to time, air, and the sun. And I have found that one bottle lasts me the whole year.

Fragrance companies are now going to start storytelling more to entice buyers. How are perfumes made? How long does it take? It really is amazing and I would love to know.

“What consumer wouldn’t be fascinated to know that Jasmine must be picked by hand before sunrise or it will lose 20 percent of its fragrance value? And that it takes 12,000 pounds of the delicate white flowers to make 2 pounds of oil?”(cosmeticsdesign-europe.com)

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, You Will Be Less Stressed After All!

Do you get a lot of tiny little pimples or great big ones right in between your eyebrows? Everybody gets pimples at sometimes in their life. Do not fret when you do and hopefully you will find a skincare product to keep them at bay most of the time. Retinoids, sulfur, and AHA, not BHA have worked the best for me. Check out some of my previous posts for more info.


However, the point is not to worry, stress does not necessary cause pimples but it can aggravate it. If you have trouble seeing the beautiful you, pimples and all, when you look in the mirror. Then try stopping looking in the mirror so much. You really only need to look in the mirror when you wash your face in the morning and at night. Looking in the mirror too often can cause unnecessary stress. Repeat you are beautiful every time you look in the mirror and that should help!

Accept Compliments

You are Beautiful!

Do you believe me? I hope you do! It is very important to be able to take a compliment, smile, say thank you, and really believe the compliment.

It took me a long time to really be able to take a compliment, I use to say, oh no, and shrug or whatnot.

When someone gives you a compliment they are not lying or even if they are, so what, take that compliment and believe it! Believing compliments helps your self esteem! If someone says you look beautiful or nice today then accept that compliment. Too many girls think no, the compliment is not true, which is really a form of self-harm. Girls are actually turning a positive into a negative.

Accepting a positive compliment will only make girls happier overall! What girls remember too often it is that one insult. We get a thousands compliments and one mean insult and we remember the mean insult and forget the thousands compliments we have gotten.


For now on accept those compliments and honestly believe each and every one! The compliment giver will appreciate your Thank You response too! A thank you is a much better and classier response than a shrug or a roll of the eyes.
