Some women need a heavy coverage foundation to cover all of their red spots. Acne, Sun spots, acne post marks, rosacea…can unfortunately all cause redness. How you apply your foundation can also affect how it looks on your skin. Apply foundation with a wet thin sponge, thick sponges can be too heavy and pick up too much foundation. Cheap thin sponges will give you a dewy look not too cakey or matte. Brushes also work really well to blend, but can take extra time, try a skunk or flat brush.
You may need to mix foundation colors and brands to get the right shade for your skin. Also, try using a concealer for red spots for extra coverage, if needed.
