Happy Independence Day!

Have a happy and safe Independence Day everyone! Thank God that our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence on this day, so we could have freedom. Thank God for all the freedoms we have now, that many countries do not have, such as the freedom of speech, religion, and to bear arms… May we never take our freedoms for granted! Thank you to everybody who is fighting now and who has paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Freedom is not free. And may we the people always fight to keep our rights and freedoms with the pen and the sword. God bless our soldiers and God bless America!

Freedom of Makeup – Memorial Day

Thank you to all the soldiers who have fought to keep America safe and fought for our freedoms! Freedom of speech, freedom of arms, and freedom to wear makeup! Okay, I know there are a lot more freedoms…We will never forget! May we never take for granted our wonderful freedoms. Freedom is not free! Thank you for the soldiers who have laid down their lives for freedom and this great country. May God watch over all the soldiers who are fighting to protect America now. May God bless our soldiers and America!

Makeup Cosmetics Should Be Banned?

“In an interview with the BBC, prominent Muslim feminist Baroness Haleh Afshar has suggested abolishing cosmetics because they perpetuate a myth of eternal youth.

Invited to propose ‘a radical idea to make the world a better place’, Afshar said beauty products should be banned because they do not allow women to grow old and are peddled on the lie that women are supposed to stay young and pretty forever.
The Professor of Politics and Women’s Studies at York University said make-up is also marketed on the idea that women are judged on appearance and therefore reduces them to the length of their eyelashes.
“Whether our eyebrows are plucked, whether we are white or pink enough, or if we’ve had a special operation to make our lips bigger or smaller – we are more than that,” added Afshar, who joined the House of Lords in 2007 as a cross-bench peer.” (cosmeticsdesign-europe.com)

Yes, we are more than just makeup and an outer appearance. However, banning cosmetics will not make everybody love each other any more. What matters is what comes out of our body not what we put on it. Love comes out of us, from the heart.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to take care of ourselves and wearing makeup that makes us look our best. True confidence and happiness comes from within and no amount of makeup or no makeup is going to change that. Plus, taking away someone’s freedom does not create love.

Lets all love and respect each other a little more from the heart.

I hope you all are with loved ones and enjoy lots of turkey today!

Thank God we live in a beautiful nation and for all of our wonderful freedoms! Thank you to the American soldiers who have fought for our freedoms and for the soldiers fighting now!

I am thankful for my readers on my Femme Façade beauty blog. Thank you! And thank God for our freedoms to wear makeup and skincare products. Thank God for the Internet and all of the knowledge we have gained about skincare!

Thank You for our Makeup Wearing Freedom – Happy Veterans Day

We must never take our freedoms for granted. And what does Veterans day and beauty have in common? Americans have the freedom to wear makeup!

Thank you to all the soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend this beautiful nation!

And thank you to all the soldiers who are fighting right now for our freedoms in America and to spread it to other countries.

Many Muslim women are banned from wearing makeup. They say it is the true Islamic way and that they get raped, because they wear makeup. Nope, it is not the mens’ fault at all.

And thank you to our Commander in Chief George W. Bush, who has kept America safe from another terrorist attack since 9/11!

I also heard about The U.S. Wounded Soldiers Foundation today on the news.
They are a non-profit organization that provides for the wounded soldiers that are fighting for our freedoms in Iraq and Afghanistan. They accept Pay Pal donations too! Here’s to the soldiers and to our many freedoms including wearing makeup products!

Vote Today for Freedoms!

Today is November 4th! Happy Election Day!

Make sure to get out and vote!

This election is one of the most important elections in the history of America. And it will be a historical election no matter who wins!

Your one vote does count. One vote has decided many elections and events. And you must not take your Right to Vote for granted. It is a right that everybody does not have.

Now, I thought long and hard about if I should share here about who I am going to vote for. And I decided I must, because this election will determine what happens to America and everything it stands for. America could change for the better or for the worse.

We have so many great freedoms and I must vote for the person who is going to protect our freedoms and the constitution of the United States of America the most!
And that person is John McCain!

For true freedom vote for John McCain!
