Toxins! Getting rid of toxins is very popular right now!

If you search on Goggle how to get rid of toxins, you will run across thousands of natural and holistic remedies to detoxify your body to get rid of all those evil toxins. Well, be careful what you believe, because our own bodies hold the key to getting rid of those toxins!

How do you get rid of toxins? By taking care of our kidneys and liver, which is our bodies natural way of cleansing toxins out of body. Everything we put into our bodies goes through our liver first and our liver metabolizes everything, both the good and the bad. The liver then distributes a lot of the good substances to our blood. Our kidneys then filters the blood and we urine out the toxins.
Now we do sweat a little bit of toxins, but hardly any, our liver and kidneys do the major work. In fact if we sweat excessively and do not drink enough water, we risk dehydration. This causing harm to the kidney, thus the kidney cannot get rid of toxins! Going in saunas for the sake of getting rid of toxins is not a good idea and can actually cause the opposite effect.

Using body wraps or those Kinoki foot pads, for example say they will pull the toxins right out of your body. Well, skin is impermeable, which is how those nicotine patches that seep into the skin work. However, toxins cannot be pull out of skin that way. Toxins leave the body through the most natural way of all, urination.

Taking care of our liver and kidneys is the key! So don’t smoke and try not to drink too much alcohol! Everything in moderation is the secret to living a long and happy life!

So don’t forget to drink up that wonderful water to help remove those toxins from your body!
